By placing an order and making a purchase, you agree to be bound by this Returns and Exchanges Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please do not proceed with your purchase.
- Stock-Item Returns
1.1 We offer a 5-day return policy for stock-items, excluding delivery fees. Please note that a 20% restocking fee may apply to some items. To be eligible for a return, the item must be returned in its original packaging and in sellable condition.
1.2 The customer is responsible for shipping, tracking, and ensuring the returned package arrives safely and correctly at our warehouse. Returns must not be initiated before receiving written authorization and confirmation from us. Any goods returned without authorization may be discarded.
1.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm with us whether an item is a stock-item or not before placing their order.
- Non-Stock Items
2.1 Returns are not available for non-stock items under any circumstances. Non-stock items are products specifically ordered from the supplier for the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm with us whether an item is a non-stock item before placing their order and to ensure they have ordered the correct product as advertised on our online listings.
- Cancellations
3.1 Placing an order constitutes a commitment to buy. Once an order is in transit, it cannot be canceled. Back-ordered non-stock items involve an irrevocable purchase contract with our supplier, and refunds may not always be possible. While cancellations for backordered non-stock items are generally not available, in certain cases where a backorder can be canceled with our supplier before being shipped, we may facilitate cancellations and refunds as a gesture of goodwill.
- Purchases of Electronic Products
4.1 Due to safety concerns and the inherent instability of electronic components, the 21-day stock-item return policy does not apply to purchases containing electronic components. Before placing an order for an electronic item, please be aware that any electronic components purchased cannot be returned for a change of mind credit under any circumstances.
- Faulty Products
5.1 Returns are available for faulty goods within the supplier’s warranty period. Please contact us to inquire about the warranty period before placing your order. To initiate a return for faulty products, authorization is required, and the fault must be accurately described during the authorization process.
- Return of Incorrect Products
6.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the product’s compatibility and provide correct and complete appliance identifying information before placing an order. If a customer purchases an incorrect item due to their own fault or providing incorrect information to us, it is not eligible for return unless it falls under the conditions mentioned above.
6.2 In rare cases where Pacific Original Parts is found to be at fault for providing a not fit-for-purpose product, a return can be facilitated through the standard return authorization process.
- Exchanges
7.1 Exchanges may be facilitated and authorized under the same conditions as direct returns, subject to the aforementioned rules.
- Shipping of Authorized Returns
8.1 In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, the customer is generally responsible for returning the product if it can be posted or easily returned.
